Chairman of Board
Mr. Bolitho serves as Chair of the Board. Professionally he is the president of Bolitho Media Services, a media brokerage, appraisal and consulting company. Mr. Bolitho is a past president of the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ada School Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas, School of Journalism, and has been a member of the Valley View Health and Wellness Foundation board since 2002.
Mark Weems DDS
Vice-Chair of Board
Dr. Mark Weems has been a dentist in Ada for thirteen years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of General Dentistry and is a teaching professional with the Center of Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. With the exception of the years he was in school at the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Weems has been a lifelong resident of Ada. He has served on the Valley View Health and Wellness Foundation board since 2008. Dr. Weems is the Board Secretary and serves on the Grant Committee.
Mr. Bart McCortney is a lifelong resident of Ada, and has served on the Valley View Health and Wellness Foundation board since 2008. He serves on the Finance Committee and Nominating Committee. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. Mr. McCortney is the owner/president of Ada based Home Title Guaranty Company.
Dean Peterson J.D.
Chairman of Grants Committee
Ms. Dean Peterson has been a Valley View board member since 1999, and has been a resident of Ada for over forty years. Ms. Peterson has a Juris Doctorate degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law. Professionally she had a private law practice in Ada until 1993. At that time she joined the faculty at East Central University and served as the Director of the Legal Studies Program.
Mr. Bill Lance is the Secretary of Commerce for the Chickasaw Nation. Prior to his current position, Mr Lance served as Administrator of the Chickasaw Nation Health System. Mr. Lance received a Master's of Public Health degree from the University of Oklahoma, and most recently became a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has been a member of the Valley View board since 2012 and serves on the Finance Committee.
Charles Mettry D.O.
Dr. Charles Mettry is a graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a practicing Board Certified Pediatrician, and has maintained a private medical practice in Ada since 1982. On the Valley View Health and Wellness Foundation board he is a member of the Finance Committee and has been a board member since 2009. Dr. Mettry grew up in Wilson, Oklahoma.
Mr. Stuart is a lifelong resident of Ada, graduating from Latta High School and East Central University. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 2003 and worked in public accounting for twelve years, becoming a partner at a local CPA firm in 2010. In 2015 Mr. Stuart was named the Senior Vice President of Administrative Services for People’s Electric Cooperative. Kyle and his wife Holly have two sons and are active member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Mrs. Eppler is a graduate from East Central University with a degree in Accounting. During college Mrs. Eppler worked for Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Laboratory, and after college she worked as an accountant for a major lab contractor. Recently, she has taught accounting and computer classes at Ada High School. Mrs. Eppler recently celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary and has two successful children. She enjoys running, bicycling, cooking, baking and building furniture with her son.
Doree Thompson was born and raised in Ada. She graduated from Ada High School in 1981and attended East Central University where she graduated with a degree in Nursing in 1986. Mrs. Thompson worked in Oklahoma City at South Community Hospital and Bone and Joint Hospital, then she moved to Jackson, MS and worked at River Oaks Hospital. A few years later she moved back to Ada where she was a nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital and Alliance Home Health. Mrs. Thompsons worked in a variety of nursing fields during her career, including general floor, operating room, home health visits, administration, and oncology. Mrs. Thompson has been married to her husband Darrell for 30 years and has three children Dannon, Deeanna, and Dalton.
